Who we are

Ohana Animal Home is a rescue home for animals of different species, mainly cats.

Over the years we have acquiered a vast knowledge about the emotional and health care of animals, especially cats. We have nursed back to health animals who would have been euthanised without getting the opportunity to prove them wrong.

Now we look after over 80 animals. Some have suffered at the hands of humans, being mutilated, poisoned or abandoned. Some have had life threatening illnesses. Some are old, some are young, but all of them are now safe and surrounded by love.

They are our inspiration. They give us the strength to carry on fighting for them. What we get from them is far greater than anything we can give them, and we hope you can feel that energy too.



Why we do it

Animals are stronger than we think, and their zest for life is such that given the support they need, they can overcome almost anything.

We have rescued animals in the brink of death after being run over, animals who were sentenced to death by veterinarians because of their illness, animals who had been poisoned and got into a coma, animals who were terribly mutilated at the hands of humans…
